Tackling health inequalities in the East Midlands
So far, £10.1 million has been raised through The Health Lottery in the East Midlands.
Thanks to this money, 261 local projects have been funded by People’s Health Trust since 2011.
Health Lottery East Midlands raises money to help reduce health inequalities. across its area. It does this by promoting its own regional lottery and working collaboratively with independent charity, People's Health Trust, to develop local interventions.
We donate the good causes funds we raise to People's Health Trust, who invest these in communities wishing to make their neighbourhoods even better places to grow, live, work and age.
Thanks to money raised so far, projects such as Derby West Indian Community Association, Green Synergy in Lincoln and Rainbow Parents Carers Forum in Nottingham have all received much-needed support.
Health Lottery East Midlands has its draws on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday throughout October. Click here to play The Health Lottery.
